Once your website is live, it needs somewhere reliable to run. I can take care of the hosting, backups and technical side of things, so you’ve got one less thing to worry about.

Hosting that’s looked after

You deal with me for your website hosting, rather than having to work through the technical details yourself. I’ll help get everything set up, look after the day-to-day arrangements and be your point of contact if something needs attention.

Speed and reliability

Your hosting includes fast storage and tools that help pages load efficiently. Copies of suitable website files can be delivered from locations nearer your visitors, helping people reach your site from across the UK and further afield.

There is no fixed monthly allowance for the amount of website data sent to visitors. Normal use is covered by the hosting’s fair-use terms, and I can review the setup with you if your website’s needs grow.

Security and backups

A security certificate protects information sent between your website and its visitors. Automatic checks look for harmful files, while daily backups give us a recent copy to restore if something goes wrong. Security checks and backups work alongside keeping the website’s software up to date.

WordPress care

I can set up WordPress, look after routine updates and manage the underlying software your website needs to run. The hosting also includes a separate test version of your website, so suitable changes can be checked before they reach the live site.

We’ll agree what ongoing maintenance includes and how changes are handled. New pages, design changes, extra features and other development can be arranged separately.

Moving your website, domains and email

If you already have a website, I can help move it and check that it works in its new home. I can also look after connecting your website address and help with domain arrangements. Domain registration and renewal costs are agreed separately.

Business email can be arranged too, or we can keep your existing email provider. We’ll agree the mailbox requirements and any ongoing charges before making changes.
